mTp – AI Travel Planner

Although I am not very enthusiastic about AI in general (T-1000 is coming after us… my generation knows what I’m talking about…), we (well.. me, with the support of AI, which sounds even more controversial, I know…) thought that providing a good AI travel planner would help even more people plan their trips and discover the world.

mTp AI travel planner

We still think you should plan your own trip

We’ll always encourage you to plan your own trips. Planning is part of the journey: it sharpens your curiosity, builds your knowledge, and lets your own instincts decide which cultures, wildlife, landscapes and people you actually want to seek out. No tool should take that away from you.
mytouristPlanner, nicknamed mTp isn’t here to replace that process. It’s here for travellers who are short on time but still want a trip that’s properly researched, not just quickly generated. mTp could also provide a quick overview of your next trip, then it’s up to you to continue your research – of course starting with our map – we then suggest a good travel guide (book) to finalise your planning.

Why mTp is a different kind of AI travel planner

Most AI travel planners are built by developers and trained purely on general AI knowledge. mTp is different for two main reasons.

First, it’s backed by the experience of a passionate (and, at times, very picky) traveller. Rather than leaving everything to the AI’s general knowledge, we’ve built and verified our own curated data behind the scenes for many practical details travellers need, so mTp checks facts against real, researched information instead of guessing. The goal isn’t just a nice-looking itinerary; it’s one built on information you can actually rely on.

Second, mTp doesn’t stop at the itinerary. In a matter of seconds, it puts together a genuine pocket travel guide – climate and the best time to visit, safety and health considerations, a realistic cost estimate, practical day-to-day information, and even the kind of curiosities that make a destination feel real. Everything you’d otherwise have to piece together from a dozen different websites, delivered in just a few seconds.

What mTp actually does

Ask mTp about a trip and it doesn’t jump straight to a day-by-day plan. It works through it properly, the way an experienced traveller would:

  • An honest feasibility check, first. Before any itinerary, mTp looks at visa and entry requirements, health considerations, safety, and seasonal climate for your dates, plus a realistic, bottom-up cost estimate covering flights, transport, accommodation, food and activities, so you know whether a trip is realistic before you plan the details. We believe that a real preliminary check on the above-mentioned information cannot be overlooked.
  • A personalised, day-by-day itinerary. Built around your origin, your dates, your travel companions and your interests.
  • Verified, not invented, practical details. For every overnight stop and every practical recommendation, mTp relies on real, checked information.
  • Practical details most planners skip. From local logistics to a tailored packing checklist, personalised to your trip and where you’re travelling from.

Who mTp is for

mTp suits travellers who want a properly researched trip without spending hours building it themselves: people planning a short getaway between busy weeks, a first trip to an unfamiliar country, or anyone who wants a second, well-informed opinion before finalising their own plans. If you love the planning process itself, we’d still say: do it yourself first, and use mTp to double-check the practical details, or let mTp inspire you, then deep dive into your planning.

A note on accuracy

mTp is an AI assistant. We’ve built it to check facts against real, verified information wherever we can, but like any AI, it can still get things wrong, especially anything time-sensitive, such as visa rules, health advisories or entry requirements. Always double-check critical details with an official source before you travel. mytouristmaps.com isn’t liable for losses or issues arising from inaccurate information provided by mTp.

Frequently asked questions

Does mTp book flights or hotels for me? No. mTp helps you plan and points you to the right information, but it doesn’t make bookings on your behalf – you stay in control of what you book.
